2024 Shakopee Lions Softball Tournament

Tournament rules...

1. Teams must be USA Softball certified.
2. Rosters (20 man max) and USA registration fee are due before first game played.
3. To receive USA Berth, teams must play in USA Post Season State Tournament.
4. Home runs will be limited to six (Men's Upper), four (Men's Lower), and two (Women's Open)
   
5. Excess home runs will be outs.
6. Balls will be provide by the Shakopee Lions, which are USA approved Synthetic .52/300.
7. U/L/W: 20 runs after 3 innings, 15 runs after 4 innings, 10 runs after 5 innings.
8. Three ball, two strike rule in effect.
9. Mut have nine players to start a game and nine players to finish.
10. No grace period.
11. All protest will be handled on the field by the umpire.
12. Eligible and classification protest will be handled by tournament directors.
13. No metal spikes will be allowed.
14. The Tournament Directors reserves the right to change format, i.e. dropping of a loser’s bracket, change times and/or fields. If rain interrupts play however, we will make every effort to play the tourney in its entirety.
15. The Tournament Directors, USE, Shakopee Park and Recreation, City of Shakopee, and Scott County will not be responsible for any accidents, property damage or injuries in connection with the tournament.
16. No refunds -Payment of entry fee confirms understanding of all rules.
17. Max two C players can play on a Lower Men’s division team.
18. Players can only play on one roster or team their first game was on.
